The standout feature of the SAT-M is its dual-source pickup configurations, which can be blended directly on the guitar:
◦Electric Tone: Powered by a neck-mounted, exposed Kent Armstrong P90 pickup, providing a warm single-coil bite ideal for jazz, blues, and rock.
◦Acoustic Tone: Managed by an active L.R. Baggs Element undersaddle piezo pickup that captures bright, open acoustic characteristics.
◦Controls: Outfitted with body-mounted knobs—two volume and two tone controls—allowing you to blend and dial in the precise mix of both pickups.◦
Stereo Output Capabilities: The guitar includes a specialized stereo jack arrangement. When using a standard mono cable, both pickup signals are mixed together into a single amplifier. However, by using the included split Y-cable, you can route the P90 electric signal to a dedicated guitar amp (optionally with distortion) while simultaneously sending the clean L.R. Baggs acoustic signal straight to a PA system or acoustic amplifier for a massive, multi-dimensional soundstage.
