Double top consists of a pair of one-millimeter-thin slices of spruce which are joined together with an equally thin strip of printed material called Nomex, which resembles a thin shaving of a honeycomb. Nomex was originally devised for use in the aerospace industry. On its own, the material is nearly weightless, composed almost entirely of air. Set upright between the pieces of spruce, it acts like a rigid wall, adding layers of density and depth. The many intricate details like the maple bindings on the body, fretboard and headstock, but also the pearl "Hallelujah" inlays also provide a pleasant picture for both the player and onlookers. The built in LR Baggs anthem pickup ensures that the beautiful tonal character stays intact when using it on stage. Includes luxury hardshell case.
