Yamaha CPX500II received its official launch at Namm 2011, basking in the wonderful Californian sunshine. Yamaha CPX500 has been a hugely popular electro acoustic guitar, and was originally developed as a dreadnought version of APX500. Since then, Yamaha have constantly updated and improved the CPX500 and now CPX500 version 2 takes centre stage.

Yamaha CPX500 II along with the rest of the APX and CPX ranges have undergone a complete overhaul for 2011. With the CPX500 II, this centres upon new electronics and updated cosmetics, featuring a stunning black headstock and a beautiful ivory binding.

CPX500II delivers the sound of a true acoustic guitar, but unlike the APX series features a traditional dreadnought design. This characteristic along with superb feel and performance will guarantee the continued success of the Yamaha CPX500II range of acoustic guitars.
