Launched in 1993, the Yamaha Pacifica 112 became the market-leading entry-level electric guitar know for using quality wood, custom-wound pickups, and being well set-up out of the box.
The Yamaha Pacifica 112V has now been updated with a short scratch plate allowing the single coil pickups to be mounted on the scratch plate while the humbucker reamins mounted on the body. Other improvements include a new block-saddle tremolo, chrome knobs, and 3-ply scratch plate. Most interesting are the new custom-wound Alnico V magneted single-coil and humbucker pickups, voiced for modern and vintage tones standard fitted with push/pull coil taps for increased tonal flexibility.
