This is another model range upgrade from Fender and in the same way that last year Fender upgraded all of their American series Strats the whole of the Mexican range of Stratocasters  have received a similar core specification upgrade. The first and most obvious physical differences are a tinted Rosewood neck, an aged parchment scratch plate and control knobs, plus the oversized "transitional" Fender headstock that was popular in the 1970's complete with a distinct 70's Fender logo ....

The body wood is Alder complimented by a Maple neck with the aforementioned tinted Rosewood fret board that has 21 medium jumbo frets. The 3 single coil standard Strat pick-ups use ceramic magnets and as per the usual configuration are managed via a Master volume and 2 tone controls along with a 5 way blade type pick-up selector switch.
