The Gibson Les Paul Standard is outfitted with the new BurstBucker Pro pickups with Alnico V magnets producing the most authentic, vintage Les Paul tone of any previous Standard pickups. BurstBucker Pro's produce more bite and a seductive 'airy' tone with both pickups on. Mahogany body and neck with maple top and rosewood fingerboard.

The BurstBucker Pro pickups add Alnico 5 magnets to the original BurstBucker design, which captured the subtle variations in true humbucker tone thanks to historically accurate "unmatched" bobbins. Used in the bridge position, the BurstBucker Pro delivers rich, smooth low end response along with a complex, satisfying midrange crunch. Burstbucker Pro pickups sound great clean or they can be used to push your amp into overdrive for the fat deep sound you can only get with a humbucker. The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s neck is considered to have a faster, slimer taper than the fatter, rounder 50s neck.

A Gibson-authorized version of their great '62 SG, with solid mahogany body and slim taper mahogany neck. Separate volume and tone controls for each of the high-output humbuckers give you complete control of your sound. The deep double cutaway lets you reach all 22 frets with ease.

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus electric guitar features classic chrome Epiphone humbucking pickups delivering big slabs of the fat warm tones, transcontinental sustain, and deep, soulful distortion that made this guitar famous.
