Built by hand in the Takamine pro facility the EF440 SCGN features a solid cedar top supported by scalloped x bracing providing a deep and resonant tone. The fully bound mahogany back and sides give greater contact with the rest of the guitar resulting in a more even sound across the tonal range. The mahogany neck is of course fitted with a traditional dove tail joint and features a dual action adjustable tension rod for superior tuning no matter the situation. The EF440 is also equiped with the Takamine palethetic pick up and the CT4B pre amp giving a warm and natural sounding acoustic tone even when plugged in. The guitar comes with the its own fitted Takamine hard case. A truly stunning guitar in both looks and performance.
