The Ibanez EW20ASE is the first EW Exotic Wood acoustic-electric instrument! This amazing instrument features a figured Zebra wood top, back and sides, plus an Ibanez B-Band SQR pickup with a powerful AEQ-SRT Shape Shifter preamp that features an onboard guitar tuner. Is new SoundExpand™ construction method for greater resonance and much more even balance of lows, mids, and highs. The guitar sounds dramatically louder, and bigger in tone than the same guitar without Sound Expand construction. Details include chrome Ibanez tuners and a rosewood fingerboard.

From the Ibanez Exotic Wood series, the EW20 WNE NT features a unique body shape with walnut top, back and sides for exceptional resonance. Electronics provided by an Ibanez B-Band SquealRepeal pickup to minimize feedback for maximum on-stage output. No adjustments or fiddling with controls is required. Plus, built-in tuner equipped on the Ibanez SRT preamp makes tuning on-stage easy. In addition to the 1/4" output jack, a balanced XLR jack is equipped for direct connection to PA. Easy to find AA battery operation would avoid the risk you cannot find replacement battery. The Ibanez EW20WNE NT is an excellent choice for a live performance electro-acoustic.

B-Band transducers featured in the EW20WNE use an electret film rather than the piezo pickups found in many electro-acoustic guitars. The result is a more open, transparent sound, without the colouring typcial of piezo pickups. Much like a condenser microphone is more transparent than a dynamic. If you think a piezo pickups sounds artificial, B-Band transducers are for.

The compact body found on AEG series guitars provides clear separation for each string that makes it possible to hear each note, even through a crowded mix. The compact body of all AEG series guitars makes it easier for live performers to move about on stage, allowing true mobility for the active musician.

The Ibanez AE40SE features anti-feedback measures: a unique single cutaway shape, slim necks and the new Ibanez/B-Band SquealRepeal pickup system.
