The Gibson Les Paul Standard is outfitted with the new BurstBucker Pro pickups with Alnico V magnets producing the most authentic, vintage Les Paul tone of any previous Standard pickups. BurstBucker Pro's produce more bite and a seductive 'airy' tone with both pickups on. Mahogany body and neck with maple top and rosewood fingerboard.

The BurstBucker Pro pickups add Alnico 5 magnets to the original BurstBucker design, which captured the subtle variations in true humbucker tone thanks to historically accurate "unmatched" bobbins. Used in the bridge position, the BurstBucker Pro delivers rich, smooth low end response along with a complex, satisfying midrange crunch. Burstbucker Pro pickups sound great clean or they can be used to push your amp into overdrive for the fat deep sound you can only get with a humbucker. All BurstBucker Pro pickups are wax potted to minimize feedback and noise.

The Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s neck is considered to have a faster, slimer taper than the fatter, rounder 50s neck.

Not for the faint hearted! The Gibson Les Paul Menace looks black & sounds blacker. Equipped with a classic sounding 490R humbucker at the neck & a super hot wound 498T humbucker at the bridge, the Les Paul Menace is ready to rock. The Menace comes in a black body, with tribal style engravings on the top & round the edges - some say this makes you play faster & harder, but thats just a rumour!! Matching black hardware, & a "clenched fist" inlay at the 12th fret - you get the picture. I don't think the church band will be using these next Sunday.

This is one of the most popular incarnations of the legendary Gibson SG guitar. The Gibson SG Standard takes the best of the '62 original and adds the longer and sturdier neck joint of the late Gibson '60s models. All the classic features you'd expect from an historic instrument are here. Hot humbuckers go from rich, sweet lightning to warm, tingling waves of sustain. A silky-fast rosewood fretboard plays like a dream. The original-style beveled mahogany body looks dazzling. Plus, there's a tune-o-matic bridge and chrome hardware. Manufactured in Nashville USA. Includes Gibson hardshell case.

This Gibson SG Standard features a 490R humbucker in the neck position. The 490R "Modern Classic" pickup features tonal characteristics similar to the ’57 Classic, but delivers a slight increase in the upper mids, for a more contemporary humbucking sound. The special Alnico II magnet gives this beauty a singing quality that delivers on demand.

Using the stripped down design of the Gibson SG Special, Gibson went one step further & stripped down the finish too! This wasn't done to save money though - this was done to give the guitar a kind of worn in look, and it works too! Other than that, the SG Special Faded is exactly the same as the regular SG Special.

Nothing can match the well-played look and feel of a favorite SG from the 1960s or '70s - except today's SG Special Faded. The "Worn" finish make these guitars feel like old friends, while humbucking pickups bring the SG Special to a level of performance the originals never had.

The Special has always represented a combination of looks, functionality, and value, and the new Gibson Faded SG Special Electric Guitar maintains this tradition. Under its attractive faded finish, it is the traditional SG, with mahogany body and neck, tune-o-matic/stopbar bridge, and alnico 490 pickups. Its faded finish gives it the look of an electric that started its rockin' days in the '60s.

Gibson Les Paul Classic Honeyburst (inc case)

The Les Paul Classic is very similar to the Les Paul Standard, but costs a little less. The Les Paul Classic only has one neck choice, but it's the '60s taper, which is by far the most popular neck that Gibson offer. It also has the 496R & 500T Ceramic Pickups, which are a hotter output than the humbuckers used on a Les Paul Standard, so the Classic will drive your amp a bit harder. You still get a carved maple top, but Gibson use a plainer grain for the Classic - if you want the flame tops then you'll need a Les Paul Standard.

The Les Paul Classic modernizes the legendary Gibson Les Paul, offering guitarists the combination of the slim-taper neck of a '60s Les Paul and the supercharged power of ceramic magnet humbuckers. The result is a screaming fast Les Paul, a new classic for rocking through the twenty-first century.
